Privacy policy
Effective September 13, 2026. This policy covers PixelRank at image-seo.net.
Trying PixelRank without an account
You can run a small number of images each day without signing in. To apply that daily limit fairly we read your IP address, combine it with a secret value held on our server, and store only the resulting one-way hash. The IP address itself is never written to our database or logs. The hash cannot be reversed to recover your address, but because it is derived from it we treat it as personal data rather than anonymous, and it is used for no purpose other than counting free runs against that day’s limit. Images processed this way are analysed and then discarded; they are not stored, cannot be downloaded, and do not appear in anyone’s history. The small record used to count the day’s runs, which holds the generated text and the hash but no image, is deleted automatically after seven days.
We also record which steps of the site are used — for example that an image was optimized or that a plan button was pressed — without cookies, without advertising identifiers, and without anything that identifies you personally. Our host, Cloudflare, separately records standard traffic and security information including IP addresses, as any web host does.
Information we process
We process your account identifier, verified email address, and subscription status to provide access, enforce image allowances, and protect your account. We store the images you upload, original filenames, image dimensions, and generated filenames and descriptions. Optional industry, keyword, and descriptive context is sent to Anthropic for processing but is not saved in your image history. Do not upload information you do not have permission to share.
How our service providers are used
- Clerk provides account authentication. If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares basic profile and email information with Clerk for your account. We do not request access to Gmail messages, Drive files, or contacts.
- Anthropic receives uploaded images and the descriptive context you submit to generate image metadata. Processing is subject to Anthropic’s applicable API terms and retention policies.
- Cloudflare hosts the application, account and image records, private uploaded files, and operational logs.
- Stripe processes subscriptions and payment details. PixelRank stores a Stripe customer identifier and checks your subscription status. Full payment card details are handled by Stripe.
We use this information to operate the requested service, troubleshoot errors, prevent misuse, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your uploaded images or use them to build our own AI training dataset.
Storage and security
Uploaded originals and completed results remain available in your account history until removed following an account or data deletion request. Authentication cookies keep you signed in. Hosting and authentication providers may use security-related cookies and logs. Saved Anthropic API keys are encrypted and available only to backend processing; the admin interface displays a masked suffix. No security system is infallible.
Providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Their retention periods can differ from the application’s storage period. We cannot promise immediate removal from provider backups or records they must retain.
California, and other US state privacy rights
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is nothing to opt out of because we do not do it: no advertising identifiers, no third-party ad or analytics trackers, and no advertising cookies anywhere on this site.
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, provide a copy of it, correct it, or delete it, and you will not be treated differently for asking. Signed-in users can delete every image and result themselves from the My images page at any time. For anything else, contact us using your account email through the contact page and we will respond within the period your state’s law allows, normally 45 days. We may need to verify that you own the account before acting.
Children
PixelRank is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and requests
You can avoid uploading sensitive images, sign out, and cancel your subscription through the billing portal. For access, correction, or deletion requests, contact us through the contact page using your account email. We may verify account ownership before responding. Applicable privacy rights depend on your location. Financial records may need to be retained where required.
Updates
We will publish material changes to this policy on this page with an updated effective date. Contact details are listed on our contact page.
