Check observable details first
Compare the draft against the photograph at a useful size. Look at object counts, colors, left and right positions, and text printed on labels or signs. Small inaccuracies often hide inside an otherwise reasonable sentence.
Be especially cautious with materials, brand names, geographic locations, and the identity of people. Supply confirmed context when those details matter. If you cannot verify a detail, remove it instead of treating the model’s confidence as evidence.
Review purpose and tone
Ask whether the image is meant to illustrate a subject, document a step, explain data, or operate a control. A generic visual summary may miss the point of a process photograph or a linked icon.
Remove sales language that adds no information. A description such as luxurious premium handcrafted chair may be less useful than one that explains the chair’s shape or a visible construction detail. Keep the reader’s task in mind.
Create an exception queue
Mark uncertain images for a person with the right knowledge. A product manager can verify a model number; a project owner can confirm a room or location. Do not allow a bulk publishing deadline to turn uncertain guesses into permanent metadata.
Save approved examples with your editorial convention. For the next batch, provide concise context drawn from those examples. Review a sample from every batch even when the previous one worked well, because the subject matter and image quality can change.
